The Taos Pueblo, Home of the Red Willow People
The Taos Pueblo is considered to be the oldest continuously inhabited human site in North America, constructed between 1000 and 1450 AD. It has a long sad history in relation to the United States government and people. However, the people of the pueblo have taken their lives and homes back. Visitors are allowed on the site, outdoors only. The actual pueblo is still inhabited.
