"whose fault?

Whose but his own? ingrate, he had of mee

All he could have; I made him just and right,

Sufficient to have stood, though free to fall."

Milton, Paradise Lost

Is the ability to self-determine the essence of being human, or, is choice an illusion at worst, elusive at best?  “Choose” is a set of vignettes or compacted narratives that have driven Western cultural, political, and social dominance, for self and others, for centuries.  “Nacache,” “The Meat Grinder,” “Samael:  Fisher of Men,” and “Obedience” reflect the traditional pseudo-choices of Western Christianity juxtaposed to an alternative vision. “Draco:  I Will Fear No Evil”  offers a parallel universe of freedom, accessible to anyone willing to risk a ride who destination is exhilarating, which has wildly creative potential, yet is always uncertain.
